Matrix enabled organisation requires everyone to demonstrate higher levels of creativity and problem solving skills in order to deliver exceptional levels of efficiency, productivity and profit. When work is seen as exciting and fulfilling, the environment becomes more dynamic, supportive, risk and ambiguity tolerant, and inwardly entrepreneurial. It then enables people to feel empowered to work across functional and geographic boundaries with freedom and authority, and to beyond, into client organisations to share best practice and business solutions aimed at delivering exceptional levels of service, product quality and customer care.
The Matrix Intrapreneurial Creativity Workshop enables people to understand the difference between taking ‘creative risks’ in order to solve legacy, structural, process or behavioural problems that are difficult to address in hierarchies, due to self-limiting and unhelpful beliefs about ‘failure’ or ‘personal credibility’. In matrix and similarly dynamic structures everyone, irrespective of specialism, or position, needs to have the confidence to propose new ideas; introduce new ways of working; suggest new products, services, policies, practices and procedures, as a part of the organisations ‘living’ research and development practices.
People attending the Matrix Intrapreneurial Creativity Workshop can expect to leave with:
• An understanding of how self-liming beliefs, personal preferences and ‘operating climates’ (i.e. the management
or organisational culture); can inhibit creativity and innovation
• Knowledge of how creativity an innovation can be developed at low/no cost yet enhance performance
• Tools, tips and techniques that will help people to be more creative in their work area, irrespective of their role,
and how they can encourage and develop an Intrapreneurial mindset in others
• The confidence to think more divergently, before divergently, in order to address complex problems
