We specialise in helping people working in multi-dimensional roles and complex structures to become more effective when operating across organisational boundaries to deliver challenging Goals, Projects, Initiatives or Processes (G-PIPs) for diverse and challenging stakeholders.
Headquartered in the UK, we have global reach through our network of Strategic Partner companies and experienced Independent facilitation professionals who have all worked in matrix organisations as line management roles, and some of whom act as our Country Relationship or Program Delivery Co-ordinators.
The people that work with us have met our exacting Business Performance Excellence criteria for Matrix Leadership and Team Facilitation, and are all credible front of any audience, from Executive to Customer or Client facing Teams, in all 3 Sectors.
We use a network of Independent Trainers, Coaches and Facilitators because we want to access a global talent pool of specialist skills to meet the ‘matrix specific’ needs of our multi-national client base. Therefore each of our people not only has advanced facilitation skills, but all are specialists in areas such as matrix strategy formulation, matrix leadership and matrix team working.
Our own 'matrixed' way of working ensures we ‘walk the talk’ when advising our clients, as Jack Welsh, the former CEO of GE said when resourcing people to facilitate one of the biggest matrix behavioural change programs on the planet in the 1980’s (The GE 'Work-Out' Program),
“Get me the best independent facilitators you can find to deliver our programs globally, I don’t want Consultants who are high on cost and low on delivery, I want real people who have been there and know how to do it” - and we agree !
Who we also are, are not ‘Badge Collectors’. Companies that run a half day event for a multi-national client and then, the next day, add a clients ‘logo’ (badge) onto their web site to give an impression of how well connected they are.
We do not do that because we respect our clients confidences; and recognise that in most cases their organisational brand image has taken decades to establish in their chosen markets, as a result of their hard work and effort, and not ours. We see ourselves as having the easy job of enabling our clients to understand how to lead and work effectively in teams in a matrix environment, but it's our clients who are the heroes, because they apply what we share with them on a daily basis, regardless of economic conditions.
The only time a prospective client gets to know the names of some of our global clients, is when we provide them with references.
